Health needed a different kind of AI

Ask a general-purpose AI about your health and something strange happens. The answer sounds excellent: fluent, confident, well organized. And it knows almost nothing about you. Not your labs, not your medications, not the pattern your sleep has been tracing for a month. It is answering the average person, because the average person is all it can see. Health is the least average subject there is.

When people describe losing trust in AI health answers, they are almost always describing one of three failures. The answer was generic, because the system had no durable memory of them. The answer was unsourced, so there was no way to tell evidence from confidence. Or the answer overreached, delivering certainty in a moment that actually called for a clinician. Any one of these is disqualifying in health. Most systems manage all three before breakfast.

We built Veyda Intelligence because we wanted the other kind of answer, and it did not exist. It was purpose-built for consumer health, and every design choice maps to one of those failures. It grounds every answer in your own Lifelong Health Record and in what it has learned about you over time, so it is answering you, not the average. When it needs evidence beyond your record, it draws on a curated body of peer-reviewed and institutional sources rather than open web search, and every claim carries its source and its evidence grade, so you can see where an answer came from and decide how much weight to give it. On the hardest questions it convenes The Roundtable, a panel of specialist agents spanning clinical evidence, labs, lifestyle, wearables, and safety, which deliberates and returns one consolidated answer instead of a pile of possibilities.

And it knows where it ends. Veyda Intelligence provides understanding and guidance, never a diagnosis. When a question belongs with a clinician, it says so plainly, and it helps you walk into that conversation carrying your whole story, which is when fifteen minutes with a doctor finally counts for everything.

Underneath all of it sits one conviction: an intelligence this personal has to be private. Your record is never for sale, never used to train models, and never shared with third-party advertisers, and strict privacy and data standards govern third-party AI service providers. You can read what it knows about you, correct it, export it, or delete it. Trust is not a feature of the product. It is the product.

You reach all of it through Sage: in the app, free, for life, with a Veyda Account, or in a dedicated iMessage chat with Membership.

The Protocol is general education, not medical advice.
