How the veyda.com website and the Veyda app use cookies, site storage, and similar technologies, and what we measure.

The website

The veyda.com website is built and hosted on Framer, and we use PostHog, a first party analytics service, which sets one analytics cookie, collects pages viewed, clicks, browser and device type, and approximate region, and records session replays with everything you type masked. None of it is used for advertising, and you can opt out anytime by emailing privacy@veyda.com. The site is, our website platform. The website sets no cookies. Nothing is written to your browser by the site itself, and no advertising or tracking identifier is stored on your device.

We measure website traffic using the platform's built in analytics, which is cookieless. It records the page you viewed and the site that referred you, together with the browser, device type, and approximate country that your request already reveals. It does not store anything on your device, it does not fingerprint your browser, it does not build a profile of you, and it does not follow you across other sites. It never includes health information, because the website holds none. There is no session replay on the website.

The support chat on the website is provided by a third party support platform. If you open the chat, it keeps a small amount of information in your browser's local storage, such as your conversation session, so that your conversation continues as you move between pages. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

We do not set advertising or social media cookies, and we do not sell or share the information the website collects.

Your analytics choice

Website analytics here is anonymous and aggregate. Because it sets no cookie and stores no identifier on your device, there is no switch to turn off and nothing of yours to delete. If your browser or an extension blocks analytics requests, the website works normally.

If we ever add advertising technology to the website, we will update this policy first, describe exactly what is collected, and give you clear choices before anything runs. The member app will never contain advertising trackers, and your health information will never be used for advertising.

The app

The Veyda app does not use cookies. It uses secure on device storage, such as the iOS Keychain, to keep you signed in and to remember your settings. The app's analytics are described in section 3 of the Privacy Policy; they do not include your health information or conversation content.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Our website does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals. Because it does not track you across sites, sell your information, or share it for advertising, there is nothing for such a signal to switch off. Where a law treats a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt out of sale or sharing, we honor it; since we do not sell or share personal information, the signal does not change how we treat your data.

Managing cookies and site storage

You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. The website sets no cookies of its own, so blocking cookies does not affect how it works. Clearing site data will remove anything the support chat has stored.
